In aid of Amsterdam Foodbank

This exclusive event isn’t just about sharing knowledge, it’s about supporting those in need. We will be collecting donations for Amsterdam Food Bank, which provides nourishing meals for less fortunate families in the local community. Intermodal will match your donations to ensure we can help even more people, so give generously!

Professors Yossi Sheffi and John Manners-Bell will also be speaking in the conference

Prior to the book signing event, Prof. Yossi Sheffi will give a presentation on the likely impacts of future technology in business in general and supply chains in particular. The recent advances in generative AI have raised anxiety among supply chain workers, such as: is ChatGPT going to replace me? Will I be able to participate in the future AI-infused economy? Which tasks involved with container shipping are going to be taken over by AI? How will jobs change? Join Prof. Sheffi at 14:00 on Tuesday 10 October in the Technology Theatre to hear his answers.

At 14:45 on Tuesday 10 October, you can hear from Prof. John Manners-Bell. John will explore the power of data-driven decision-making in global transportation and examine how tailored data utilisation, collaborative insights, and optimised processes can revolutionise your logistics operations and enhance customer experience. Join Prof. Manners-Bell to get an in-depth perspective on the shifting tides of global trade and economics from one of the foremost thought leaders in the field.

This event promises a stimulating exchange of ideas and a chance to meet two brilliant minds. Don't miss your chance to secure signed copies of these groundbreaking books.

Join us for an afternoon of intellectual enrichment on Tuesday 10 October at the Technology Theatre and Intermodal Stand (L50), and be part of the conversation that's shaping our future. See you there!
